Summons

» Overview | Simba | Bambi | Dumbo | Genie | Tinkerbell | Mushu

Summons
Summoning spells can be learned during Sora's quest after certain events or by obtainming a summon gem and giving it to the Fairy Godmother.

Summoning Characters
Summons become available after a battle starts. To call a summon, select the "Magic" on the command menu, and then "Summon" to show a list of available characters. Each summoned character has special abilities which aid Sora in battle. Summoned characters have their own MP guage which decreases over time. When their MP guage reaches zero, the summoned character leaves the battle. To dismiss the character before their time is up, select the "Dismiss" command in the Magic menu.

Effects of Summoning
• All members must be concious (not KO'd)
• Sora must have sufficient MP (varies for each summon)
• All exits become blocked until summons are dismissed
• Each summoned character can only be used once per battle
• Summons are unavailable in Colliseum Tournaments, Atlantica, or while flying
• Special abilities and options become unavailable during summons (besides Tinkerbell)
• Sora's allies will disappear temporarily when summons are present (besides Tinkerbell)

Durations
The summon's durations are dependent on Sora's Magic stat (MaxMP) and how many characters have the "Cheer" ability equipped. The "Cheer" ability increases the MP guage of summoned characters. By equipping "Cheer" to all the members in the party, the effect is boosted. The summon's maximum MP is shown in the following formula:

The MP guage will decrease faster when an attack is used. The only exception is Tinkerbell, who will leave only after being dismissed or reviving a KO'd member. The specific duration are shown on their sections.
